New Asimov's has arrived

WAY before it hits the newsstands, the issue has arrived in my mailbox. There seems to be a pattern: my name is on the cover on alternating appearances (my first and third stories to run there). Ah well. Too many names to fit on this big double issue anyway.

Find it in your bookstore on March 1.

Thanks, Cal!

Me, I'm looking forward to finishing the next one . . .

Sadly, not yet available on Fictionwise -- just tried. Have emailed Asimov staff to ask for a retailer in London (UK, not Kentucky :) )... Can't wait!

Good luck getting it there. (It's not like the UK is Mongolia . . . )

You'd be surprised: tried the biggest science-fiction store I've ever seen, Forbidden Planet. They carry Locus, but not Asimov's ! Same failing at the super library Foyle (which, incidentally, gave its name to Bester's main character in Stars My Destination)

But I am determined, I *will* get it =D [and take a subscription]

I noticed I was feeling a bit two-dimensional recently. Am I at least in color? Or am I reduced to a wan palette of grays and blacks . . . like the unconscious body of this Syracuse winter?

Yours,
